ASUS RT-AC87R Login issue?

I am trying to setup a backup program to my external HDD attached to my AC87R. Whenever I restart my computer and try to access the router on the local network using Windows Explorer I'm prompted to login. It doesn't seem to remember me even when I check the box.... I also checked my windows credentials and it shows the router with my login information but doesn't automatically log me in so I'm a little stuck

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: This issue is on both my Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Computers.

It's normal in new session based authentication for avoiding some security issue like CSRF.
