I had Ai Protection working very well to block youtube on specific devices (kids tablets). I setup Family groups and blocked streaming content and other categories. About 2 weeks ago this stopped working - I thought maybe youtube updated something because other types of blocking worked fine.
Yesterday I tried the merlin firmware and now it seems to work again. I am just trying the root cause because I really want to continue to have a great way to block content without completely blocking internet.
Any other great ways I could manage this? I read about DNS services but do not get how that would work for different devices (different devices use different DNS?)
