Asus RT-AC88U latest official firmware upgrade to latest merlin failed.

Hi,

I have an AC88U in mesh with 3 AC68U. Would like to install merlin for all the routers. First i tried the main router (AC88U) but it failed.
I just downloaded the appropriate firmware file, and do a manual upgrade with RT-AC88U_386.3_2.trx.

But after a while a received an error message, and the router restarted.

What could be the problem?

If I upgrade the main router to merlin, will the mesh working with the official AC68U?

If you have any USB devices plugged into your router remove them and reboot the router before attempting to install the new firmware.

Human error....I was download AX88...sorry...
