Thanks for this, I have 2 nodes which have been updated to this latest Firmware. The update was successful.

Curiously, the Web GUI and App are now indicating that they require a further Firmware update and the version details are: 3.1.0.4.384_5224-g47f8ce9

Note, the "3.1.0.4" rather than "3.0.0.4" reference; if that reveals anything.

When you press the link on the release notes, it fails to load, likewise, the update fails too.

The Asus website does not provide any details or references to this "new" firmware either: any ideas?!
 
I would hold off on updating that the "3.1.0.4" firmware if I were you. That seems like a typo on ASUS' part if anything because the next firmware family is 3.0.0.6 (for RT-AX / ZenWiFi Pro routers, GT-AXE16000, RT-AX57 Go and WiFi 7 routers) AFAIK and also the "384" series is almost from 6 years ago for RT-AX56U.
