Haven't noticed this personally. I did go ahead and enable automatic reboot a few times a week to try to counter the issues you mentioned, and I haven't experienced any problems so far.
Another thing has been bothering me with sticking to older firmware. I cannot figure out if the router is fully protected against the recent-ish security issues regarding Ai related features, or if the fix arrived in 903 only?
