ASUS RT-N12E C1 does not have repeater option

Greetings everyone.

There is no repeater option on my ASUS RT-N12E C1 modem with repeater support. I tried resetting the modem to factory settings but the repeater option does not appear in the initial setup wizard. None of the guides I've followed on the internet have worked. There is no repeater option anywhere in the modem interface. I also did the updates.


I live in Turkey, and sometimes my ISS do something sh*ts like this. I think it might be related to the "root" account or firmware, but I couldn't find any information about the root account on the internet.


Any ideas?

That's because you don't have an RT-N12E C1 you have a DSL-N12E_C1.

No, completely different.

"N300" only refers to the maximum WiFi speed. There are dozens of different routers from different manufacturers that are all "N300".
