New Around Here
Hey everyone - I'm new to the forum.

My dir-655 finally bit the dust after 2.5yrs or so and after much research I ended up with the ASUS rt-n56u. Wow, what a drastic difference between the web gui config in the 655 (and linksys and netgear also) compared to the ASUS!!

Can anyone tell me how to setup access control? I set the IP or MAC, then create schedules, then assign the IP or MAC to the schedule and then either enable or disable the policies. This way, I can help control the access our teen and pre-teen kiddos have on the internet.

I had all this setup nicely on the 655. Is there any way to do this on the ASUS? The closest I found is under Firewall / LAN to WAN Filter. But, it just doesn't offer the same capabilities form what I can tell.

I have the latest firmware. The User Manual doesn't cover this area either.

Any help is appreciated. I may have to send this back if its a no go.

Brian
