ASUS RT-N66U - VPN Routing Issue Merlin Buil

I was wondering if one of you could help me out.

I have setup a new ASUS RT-N66U router which I purchased mostly for the VPN Capability and other nice features.

Everything is working fine except for the VPN. Here is where I am at.

Standard DHCP Setup on 192.168.1.100-140 addresses.
VPN PPTP configured from 192.160.10.10 to 192.168.10.19.

When I VPN in over 3G it connects fine to VPN.

When connected I can access the ASUS Router Webpage at 192.168.1.1 over 3G Via VPN.

When I try to access a Webserver on the 192.168.1.0 subnet it won't get there.

Clients on the 192.168.1.0 subnet CAN ping the VPN Client on 192.168.10.0 subnet.

My VPN Client when connected to VPN over 3G can't ping anything but the router at 192.168.1.1.

So it looks like clients on the 192.168.1.0 subnet can get to the 192.168.10.0 subnet but not the other way around.

I have googled this to hell and still can't figure it what setting I am missing.

I haven't added an static routes or anything funky.

I also tried the Merlin build (Latest) which runs faster and has great features but didn't fix the VPN Issue.

Any thoughts?? I will be happy to answer any questions about config etc.

Move the VPN IP pool within the same subnet as your LAN, it will be far easier to manage without the need for static routes.

I have the same problem and I moved to same subnet still no luck. smb and broadcast was enabled.

Make sure your local network (where the client is run from) isn't using the same subnet as the remote one (your home network), or you will have a network conflict.

I USE 3G to connect directly by android AND should be not the same subnet.

same setting work on ac68u with ddwrt, I can connect samba via 3G
