New Around Here
Hey ,
I bought one of these as the wireless cable router that my ISP provided is probably the worst one ever manufactured.
I have a network cable coming from Port 1 on the cable router (router 1) to the asus's WAN port.
Devices are then connected to the asus router's lan ports but they are only getting around 50mbits of my 200mbit connection.
If the network is ran solely from router 1 I am getting the full bandwidth that I am paying for.
Router 1: 192.168.0.1 Firewall disabled, wireless disabled, dhcp disabled
Router 2: 192.168.1.1: Wan is 192.168.0.4 (statically assigned)
Tests have been run using downloads and various speed test sites online between both solutions to compare throughput.
Any ideas? :S
Regards,
Paul
