Release ASUS TUF-AX4200 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_34011 (2026/03/11)

Solved!
Hi, I wanted to share my experience with adjusting the settings on my Asus TUF-AX4600 router on the latest firmware 3.0.0.4.388_34011. After adjusting the suggested settings, the router stabilized and seems to finally be working without any problems.
This adjustment was suggested by sevntytwo on the TUF-AX6000 router, as you all know the chipset is the same.

This was my final router config change:

  • NAT Acceleration (LAN > Switch Control) changed from Auto to Disabled.
  • DHCP query frequency (WAN > Internet Connection) changed from Aggressive to Normal.

I have to say that, after a wifi careful configuration. mi network, based on TUF-AX6000 gateway and two RT-AX59U wworking im AP mode -not aimesh- are the best setup I ever had. Gateway is a beast, filogic 830 is terrific, and RT-AX59U in AP mode run cool and solid.

Um… Under the WAN, internet connection tab …hopefully your model has that setting.

Ok,so you are basically disabling hardware acceleration.
A feature that suppose to offload the processing power from the cores.
That is very good 👍 workaround if it works for you.
But then again it should not be necessary to turn off some features you paid money for just because the manufacturer is not interested/cannot fixing it.
And to me is unacceptable to sell a product with features that are not working/have to turn off to make it work.
Unfortunately I have lesson learnt on my own money.
Rest assured the TUF-AX6000 is last Asus product bought in my life...
