Asus USB-AC56 wireless adapter with Windows 10

I needed an AC wireless usb adapter for a laptop so I purchased the Linksys USB6300 AC1200 adapter, for which I didn't realize there were no available Windows 10 drivers, so it would only connect on the wireless N protocol. Well just the other day Linksys made available drivers for Windows 10 which enabled AC and improved its performance and stability but I gave it to my parents for their desktop PC. So now that I need a new AC1200 wireless adapter I am wondering if anyone is using the Asus USB-AC56 adapter, and if it is stable and works well with Windows 10.

It's "ok" - it'll work with the Win10 update drivers, but configure itself very conservative...

Thanks, checking it out now, that might work.
Hi, I received the d-link dwa-192 ac1900 wireless adapter today and was just setting it up. I downloaded the latest version of the Windows driver 1.03.B04 which says in the release notes that it works with Windows 10. After installing the driver and connecting to the internet on my PC running Windows 10, it says it is running on the 802.11n protocol, not ac. Does yours say it is running on the ac protocol? I don't know why it's running as 802.11n when this version is supposed to be Windows 10 compatible.
