asus xt9 vs asus xt8

Hi i saw that an firmware for the asus xt9 an 388 version is available and this router is similar with the xt 8 so i tryed to take that softfware in the xt 8 but it failed someone know why when the look the same on paper almost then?

Looks like a new product with updated hardware. You can’t run this firmware on your XT8.

This one is so fresh… the specifications information is still copy/paste messed up. I guess XT8 with different 5GHz radio SoC and perhaps a bit faster CPU.
