ASUS ZenWiFi XT9 AX7800, Log files keeps showing a date of Dec 31

I was looking at my "system log" the other day and saw a date of 12/31 in between the correct dates.

I noticed this in 3 sets of logs I've saved and cleared over the past week.
And the 12/31 logs that keep coming back are the same information.

What is causing this to happen.

Your router rebooted. When this happens, because the router has no battery-backed clock, the system date and time goes back to the default value. Once the router has connected to the internet it corrects the date and time from an NTP server.
Didn't think about that.. Since it's plugged in and on a UPS backup.

But I was rebooting every night. Now I have it set to once a week.

thanks
