Automated USB stick backup?

Hi,

Since I configured SkyNet etc. and like to keep all of that, even if my USB dies (what happens ever so often): Is there a way to backup the entire configuration - ideally automatically?
When the USB stick then dies, I simply restore the latest backup, connect the new UST stick to my Merlin router and start it for getting all my customized configuration back quickly.

Any hints how to do that?
