AX-88U Phone application

Hello,

A lightning strike took out the wan port on my AC-86U so I picked up an AX-88U (refurbished). The Asus router application for phone doesn't work with it, someone recommended the Asus Expert Wifi app, but that doesn't work either. Is there any phone management app that works with this model?

Also, was this a good upgrade or would something else in the same price range have been better. So far it's been just fine. Thank you.

I use the Asus Router app from Play store, works fine.

There is no good reason why the Asus app would not work. Did you change the router IP address from the default of 192.168.50.1? Did you upgrade the firmware and do a hard factory reset then manually configure?

Correct. I'm not sure whether the Apple version of the app works but android version 1.0.0.8.24 is working fine within a subnet of 10.0.0.0/24.
