AX1800S - Blocking internet interrupts LAN as well

I wanted to prevent one device from accessing Internet, at the same time allow the same device to access a server in local network.

I blocked that device's internet access with ASUS router app, it no longer gets to the Internet. The device is able to access the local server right after blocking, but the connection becomes unstable after a while, a ping to the server results in a mix of successful pings, "request time out" and "general failure" messages.

Anyone has any ideas?

Have you tried rebooting the router and that specific device?

If the device is a Windows computer, do not just shut down and turn it on. Do an actual Restart to be sure it clears any cache in use.
