Ax89x Sfp Dhcp issue

So im on a fiber 1.5gbe plan and managed to get my ISP telus to install a gpon ont sfp. While in the actiontek T3200m everything works fine but if I plug the sfp into the ax89x I get the "your ISP's Dhcp is not functioning correctly" within the Asus gui. Is there anyway I can get this working? I know people have got this working with pfsense.

The GPON ONT SFP runs at 2.5GBase-X but the AX89X only supports 1GBase-X or 10GBase-X negotiation, unfortunately. People have complained to ASUS to no effect yet.

Thanks for the update. I got it to work using a XG6 switch.

Yeah, Ubiquiti has had some good support for the 2.5Gbps speed. Shame it's so expensive

I'm about to be in your boat, 1.5G install is Monday!

Still had to call ISP to get the full speed working. They had something capped at their end, was only getting gigabit speeds.
