Bandwidth Monitor doesn't work

Ever since I had my RT-AC68P the "QoS - WAN/LAN Bandwidth Monitor" doesn't work for Ethernet-connected devices. I can copy files across the the LAN or download files from the net and the aggregate meter or the device meter won't show anything. Once in a while the device meter will blip.

What could cause just the wired devices to not show traffic?

On the latest ASUSWRT. ASUS support (even the support managers and "ASUS Executive Escalations" manager) has been totally dunce about this.

LAN (wired) to LAN (wired) will not show up in the bandwidth monitor at all because the traffic stays on the switch.

WAN to LAN (wired) and vice versa will not show up in the bandwidth monitor if hardware acceleration is enabled.

Thanks, Colin. I disabled NAT acceleration and now I see WAN to LAN traffic.
Should I expect to see wireless to wired traffic?

Why did the wireless traffic show even with NAT acceleration enabled?

Wireless to LAN and vice versa, yes. EDIT: See post #8.

Why did the wireless traffic show even with NAT acceleration enabled?
The reason the WAN-LAN traffic didn't show is because the Ethernet sockets are connected to the same switch chip. The WiFi interfaces are separate chips that are bridged to the switch, so the router can see the bridge traffic stats.

In "QoS - WAN/LAN Bandwidth Monitor" on RT-AC68U. Yes?
Arrg! Sorry.

Apologies @Justinh. I forgot you were asking about the Bandwidth Monitor and thought we were talking about the Traffic Monitor. My router's firmware doesn't have Adaptive QoS so I can't say how much of what I said is applicable for you. I don't think the Bandwidth Monitor shows WLAN to LAN traffic, only WAN to LAN&WLAN. But I don't know for sure.
