I use a Back-UPS 425. Simple to use and set up - just plug it in.

If you have a significant other buy one where you can disable the audible warning. No fun getting up in the middle of the night during a power outage and having no take your UPS out to the garage and put it into the trunk so the wife will stop complaining about the annoying beeps from the UPS.

Almost any brand will work, your requirement is pretty low (routers draw significantly less power than most devices people generally run on a ups). The only decision is how long you want to run on battery. Obviously, more time = bigger battery = more cost.

Being able to silence the alarm is a good feature though to have, but may or may not be important for you, or willing to pay for it.

There are of course other variables such as standby vs live power, monitoring capabilities (smart ups), lcd displays, etc but your needs sound pretty basic.

Thanks. I went with a CyberPower ST900U. The brief outages are becoming an issue again, so done.

My understanding is the model in photo has overheating issues, and thus the need for cooling fans being constructed.
