BE58 Go Unable to connect to Parent AP

New Around Here
I've just installed Merlin 3006.102.6 on my new BE58 and configured it to WISP operation mode. Unfortunately, it hasn't been able to connect to my WiFi. It is repeatedly showing the error "Unable to connect to Parent AP". Before that message appears, there's also a DHCP error message. On the ASUS router that I'm trying to get this BE58 Go to connect to, I can see the BE58 Go connecting for 2-3 seconds and then disconnecting. This happens repeatedly. The BE58 Go colour indicator is red.

I've tried factory resetting, connecting to my iPhone's hotspot, but the BE58 Go refuses to stay connected to the WiFi network.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Try again with the latest available Asuswrt firmware. If the same issue happens - call ASUS Support.

Thanks for your advice. I tried restoring to ASUS official firmware by uploading the firmware but it was unsuccessful. I’m looking for a Windows PC with an Ethernet port now to try the rescue option.

Is there another easier method that I might have missed for restoring the official firmware?

Thank you!

Must be straight forward process from the GUI. There is no much experience with this device, only few people around have one. Always test functionality with original firmware. Replace it with 3rd party firmware only after you know the device works as advertised. If it doesn't - send it back. RMerlin won't fix it for you.
