BE88U - 10GBe SPF+ and RJ45

New Around Here
I'm going through my initial setup of my RT-BE88U. (stock firmware 3.0.0.6.102_38186) The plan is to use the 2.5Gbe LAN/WAN1 port for my connect to my Draytek Vigor166 (FTTC) and the 10Gbe RJ45 to my TP Link SG3428X L2+ switch. With the intention of a transit VLAN (plus wifi VLANs) on the 10Gbe RJ45 as a trunk port to one of the 10Gbe SFP+ on the switch.

This is working fine, however, the 10Gbe RJ45 doesnt show in the VLAN gui, only the SFP+ port? So I'm unable to assign my transit VLAN. I've tried a hard reset with no success.

This shows me having switched to the SFP+, but the RJ45 10Gbe is missing? Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Carl

Going on my own experience with a fibre module you'll only see the SFP+ port. Whatever VLAN you assign on the SFP+ port will naturally propogate to whatever module you have plugged into it.

I understand that, but the router has a 10gbe rj45 port aswell as the sfp with a 10gbe module, but the 10gbe rj45 doesn't show up on the vlan gui. I'd prefer to use the rj45 to avoid the heat from the 10Gbe rj45 sfp module, but cant as I cant specify a vlan.

The WaN/lan1 shows 'Aggregation'. Aggregated with what? The 10GBit port?

To use the 2.5Gbe as WAN have you changed the following setting?

Yes, that's set to 2.5gbe, that isn't the issue, the wan connection is fine, its the complete missing rj45 10Gbe in the vlan gui, it shows up on the network map, and when connected, connects at 10Gbe to my switch with no issue.
I raised a ticket with Asus, saying I had already hard reset it, and that's all they have suggested, and if that doesn't work refer to the place of purchase...but I don't think Amazon will be much help!
