So, have all the gremlins been worked out of this model? I know from past experience that it takes a minimum of one year to have a stable product from ASUS. The holidays are around the corner and I'm starting to get some wifi 7 items

In recent past the "best" Asus models in GT and ZenWiFi product lines never enjoyed the best support. I would add one more year. The "best" models also never had the best price/performance ratio. I would explore more popular options instead. Looking at your signature - save your money. If your few Wi-Fi 7 items are phones/tablets - don't even bother, wasting your time.

Of course, you know us techies...want the latest but I've been toying around with the idea of going all Ubiquti and just forget about ASUS....I know...blashphemy! LOL

If by "techies" you mean the need of tinkering and experimenting - most SMB gear will be great disappointment for you. You set it up once and there is nothing much to do after. They have tighter restrictions of what modifications are allowed. Ubiquiti UniFi included. They did come up with some cool features lately, but for real techies - few days play and boring life after.
