bes router for Asuswrt-Merlin

Hello

I'm loking for the currently best router to use Merlin's nice firmware.
I need one with fast CPU and biggest memory/nvram since I want to add a lot of extra features (Entware) . Fast WLAN would be good but has not highest prio.
Any recomendations of the supported devices ?

What country are you in? Some models like the RT-AC3100 aren't available in the EU.
