Bricked Asus RT-AC56U

Hi,

I have one bricked AC56U router. When you connect via serial error is "Error: do_shmoo failed with error 0xe000". I believe re-flash is needed and I don't have nor time nor resources to play with it.

Outside of this error, router was in working order although its case is a bit damaged now (damn you Asus for hiding those screws).

If someone is interested, I am giving it away for free, if you are OK with covering postal cost. Whoever is interested can send me a PM.

RT-AC56U Bricked after overclock

Hi Medo ~
My RT-AC56U was bricked after i overclocked the CPU at 1GHz >_<" for a few months . But i did force it to reset to default by:
1. Hold the WPS button
2. Reboot the RT-AC56U power (while holding "WPS")
3. wait about 15 seconds until power LED is flashing
4. Release the "WPS" the system will reboot and everything back to default setting

I am not sure how you bricked it .... but for my case the steps works for me.
