Bug: VPN Director - "Duplicate" rules

I have found the following behaviour:

• Router model: RT-AX86U Pro
• Firmware version: Current Merlin build - 3006.102.5
• Specific issue: Duplicate VPN Director rules with the same (sub)net cause SSL lockout
• Reproduction steps:
  1. create a new rule for a network, eg. 192.168.1.0/24
  2. provide a unique name: eg. Main Network
  3. point to iFace: OVPN (pre-created VPN profile)
  4. Set it to active: y/n, doesn't matter
  5. [Apply]
     
     
  6. repeat steps 1-5
     1. point iFace to a different iFace VPN profile: eg. pre-created WGC VPN profile
• Symptoms:
  • SSL lockout from router
  • only can access router via insecure login
• Workaround:Delete "duplicate" rule
  • not actually a duplicate rule.
