Hello all,
I have my router connected to a cable provider and then cabling that was installed when the house was built, allows me to connect to the router. When I plug a switch into the wall and connect my computers to that switch, the switch shows that the connection to my computer is at 1000Mbs (green light) but the connection to the router is a yellow light (100Mbs). Is this a cabling issue or is there something I need to change in the router? Is there some way I can test exactly what speed I am getting to the router? Thanks for any help!
Switch is Dlink DGS-1005D
Router is Dlink WBR 1310
