Can connect thru switch, can't thru wall cable

New Around Here
I am attempting to set up whole-home cabling with Cat5e cables. Strung & connected them myself. Thru a connection from router to remote switch, I can successfully connect to the internet via a switch, but when I attempt to connect that switch up to the in-wall Cat5e cables I've strung I cannot connect to internet.

Troubleshooting:
+ I have used a $100 cable tester to test all in-wall cables, all show good (no shorts/splices/etc)
+ I've wired the in-wall cables to the 568A standard, both ends wired the same.
+ I've tried to follow guidance on how to string cables (avoid sharp bends, don't pull hard, don't run parallel to electrical runs, etc)
+ I have confirmed connection lights on my laptop when connecting to the in-wall cables (these are always present after I connect the cable), and (sometimes) laptop shows that I achieve a LAN connection. However, even after achieving the LAN connection, I am unable to connect to internet. ("Connection has limited/no connectivity")
+ When I attempt to repair the LAN connection or manually release/renew ipconfig, the attempt times out.

Any guidance?

Thanks.

First verify that the computer that you're using for testing is getting proper IP address information from your router. Then make sure you can ping your router's IP address.

I assume you mean use Ipconfig at command line? When I do so, I receive a LAN IP address of 192.168.2.8. When I then try to ping the router IP address, it times out.

Is that a correct IP? What is your router's IP address? What is the client showing for gateway and DNS?
