Can't access web HMI of Netgear GS108Tv2 after upgrading to the latest FW

I decided to upgrade to the latest FW for my GS108Tv2.
The switch works as a switch after the upgrade. However, I can't access its web HMI. The switch was setup to use DHCP and has a fixed reservation on my ISA server.

What happens:
- the switch is going back to its default IP, still in DHCP client mode. For some reason it can't get an DHCP IP
- all other clients on the switch can, and will find the DHCP server on the ISA server attached to the switch
- interesting: the Netgear SCC tool thinks that DHCP is disabled on the network adapter.

I forgot to post from the manual earlier. It should be able to handle both with the appropriate equipment according to what I have found online. Unless you know for sure that this one won't work. I will be grabbing a crossover cable from work tomorrow and try it. If it doesn't work then I guess I'll have to try something else. I appreciate the reply.
