cant hold internet connection

my RT-N56u with 1.0.1.8n firmware and comcast service running through a arris telephony cable modem just keeps dropping connection every minute, i've tried rebooting and resetting nothing is working, does anyone know what the trouble could be?

u should try other version of fw like 1.0.1.7f or 3.0.0.4-206.
if u like to try padavan's custom fw, try 3.0.3.3-040 or 3.0.3.3-042. =) hope it helps

yeah i updated the firmware to 3.0.0.4.424 and everything seems to be holding steady now

I wouldnt use 3.0.0.4-342, use -206 instead, u'll be happy with it.
