First I would like to say thanks for the excellent firmware from Voxel and the Kamoj addon.
I have installed Entware and updated the software and the packags. All seemed ok, but when I log into the router cant see Entware . need guidance.

Thanks for the reply.Is there a how to on the forum ?
Cant see any list of packages on router

Do I need to download the file first then install or can I copy the link and install ?

it will automatically install to various folders in /opt. If you installed entware correctly, then those folders are on the usb.
(or are symlinks to folders on usb)

The usb has the entware folder on it var, bin, tmp folders etc.Installed ffmeg and wireguard but cant see them.Tried creating folders for them on ready share but it says the folders are not on the usb. ?

I'm not sure what you are doing, but working with entware / configuring it mostly needs to be done via ssh or telnet.

Just tried installing ffmpeg. This is more or less what you should have seen:

Code:

@Voxel

Is it not possible to have a tool like in enigma 2... filezilla and dcc to name a couple where we can connect within the custom firmware to install ipk and tar.gz files and update the image.
So novices like me who are not linux literate can take advatage of yours and others superb work

Regards
