Cheap Router with OpenWRT Support - New Thread

Technically it is a proprietary quasi-OpenWrt system under OpenWrt rules as the company (wisely IMHO) uses the chipmakers' proprietary device drivers in their devices. As a user, that's basically a quibble among insiders. At least in past years, their direct tech support was amazing.

The Qualcomm and Mediatek SDK's are technically forks of OpenWRT with all of their special sauce built in...

MT6000 benefits from being a close relative of the OpenWRT One reference platform... (both are MediaTek filogic based)
 
What about the Linksys LN1301(MX4300)? They were going for $15-20 a pop, and a few went for $10 at one point.
