Client status list?

The devices listed in the Client Status list, are they authenticated ones only or does it include devices that have tried to connect as well?

It includes anything that was able to be on the same network. Devices can't get a DHCP lease without associated, so they shouldn't be listed. I have never specifically tested this however.

I would like to have the sorting by IP number not by client name. Is it possible to add the ability to sort the client status list? If not, might you consider changing the current sort order?

I don't think it is sorted at all at the moment - at least not on mine (they are neither alphabetical nor address ordered). I agree some sorting ability here would be very very useful.

BTW if you need the info quick and dirty from an SSH session;

sort -t. -k4n /tmp/var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases
(will give you the info by IP address)

sort -k2 /tmp/var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases
(will give you info by MAC)

sort -k4 /tmp/var/lib/misc/dnsmasq.leases
(will give you info by registered hostname)

General webui improvements such as sorting or editing are things I want to look at in the distant future, once the firmware code starts stabilizing at Asus's end.

Any thoughts on revisiting whether the list of clients in the client status area can be sorted by IP?
