Connect 2 Switches

New Around Here
ASUS shows putting 1 switch from the cable modem from switch 1 to route. Router to switch 2

I thought all the port were on the same bus..

Does it matter whether it go to the wireless router and then connecting to Switch 1 and 2

or connect wireless router to switch 1 to switch 2.

each of these switches has a VIP so I have 2 VIP

ASUS 5 port and 8 port.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Generally if you just want two switches on the same network, you'll plug one into the router, then plug the other switch into that one.

If the router has more than 1 LAN port, you can plug both switches directly into the router (do not connect the switches together in this case)
