I am trying to get Alexa (Echo) to show the Ring video on a Roku.
While setting up the Alexa skill it looks for the appropriate Roku on the network, but the Rokus (I have 3) are nowhere to be discovered.
Looking up the possible causes I read that the Rokus have to be discoverable on the network.
Looking into the Voxel (V9.2.5.2.29.1SF-HW) setup, most of my connected hardware are under the '.....list of allowed devices not currently connected to the network' and not under the 'ALLOWED' list.
I know there are a LOT of hardware on this list that are actually connected to the network.
I have turned on Access Control to see if that would allow me to move the Rokus from one list to the other, but it did not.
Just wondering if this could be the issue for Alexa not discovering the Rokus?
And if there is a way to 'move' the Rokus from the '.....list of allowed devices not currently connected to the network'.
