Couple of questions about RP-AC68U

It is a plain AP, does it have:

1) Remote Syslog capability
2) SNMP

Would anyone who actually owns this device with latest Firmware check these out?

Many things are not available in AP (vs. Router) mode, but SNMP is still there (Administration / SNMP).
The Asus routers have no remote Syslog(-NG) support by default, but you can add it via Entware-NG (works also on AP mode) - see forum discussions for a How-To and support...

If I understood you correctly, SNMP is present but Syslog forwarding needs a bit tinkering?

I did not know that RP-AC68U has a router mode at all, according to specifications it is plain AP/Bridge/Extender...

Glad to know it does have SNMP, time to order one then I guess, thx.

EDIT: Started to think, maybe you mxied up RT-AC68U and RP-AC68U, I asked about the latter

SNMP is not available in the stock firmware.

Hmm, buying a rotuer to use it as an access-point seems like a waste to me, but I guess there is no other option.
