Just in case anyone is worried about their CPU temperature, I posted a solution that worked for me (although it wouldn't work for every model). It's here, in case you're interested.
Could make a better title for this? There's already tons of threads about temperature and various solutions for different setups.
I can understand why ASUS went with passive cooling. It saves them money, give them less warranty claims, and a silent device is always ideal. But seriously add a USB fan or netbook cooler and be done with it. I added high end pads (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZJSEHES/?tag=snbforums-20) After the heatsink can't dissipate any more heat after about 20-25 minutes of run time, my tempertures didn't change significantly. But it took way longer for it to get to a constant temperature. I then added a USB fan to the mix (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XN24GY/?tag=snbforums-20) and dropped my temps over 20c .
