New version of my custom firmware build: 9.2.5.2.41SF-HW.

Changes (vs 9.2.5.2.40SF-HW):

1. Toolchain: binutils is upgraded 2.44->2.45.
2. Toolchain: Go is upgraded 1.24.4->1.25.1.
3. lighttpd package is upgraded 1.4.79->1.4.81 (fixing CVE-2025-8671).
4. pcre2 package is upgraded 10.45->10.46 (fixing CVE-2025-58050).
5. unbound package (used in stubby) is upgraded 1.23.0->1.23.1 (fixing CVE-2025-5994).
6. iperf3 package is upgraded 3.19->3.19.1 (fixing CVE-2025-54349, CVE-2025-54350, CVE-2025-54351).
7. OpenSSL v. 3.0.x package is upgraded 3.0.16->3.0.17.
8. DNSCrypt Proxy v.2 is upgraded 2.1.12->2.1.14.
9. curl package is upgraded 8.14.1->8.16.0.
10. bind package is upgraded 9.18.37->9.18.39.
11. ethtool package is upgraded 6.14->6.15.

Is it still possible to install Voxel's firmware on a RBK50 setup running the most recent Netgear firmware V2.7.5.6?

I tried following the instructions in the quick start guide and flashed back to the stock firmware 2.5.2.4 first - after this my usual login credentials were rejected (as were the default admin/password - tried just in case it had gone factory fresh). It also failed me on the security question tests using answers I had definitely written down for safe keeping. This forced me into doing a factory reset - upon which, when I finally got into the web GUI, showed that the RBR50 and satellites were all still on V2.7.5.6 Have NG pulled a fast one on making EOL truly EOL?
