Kudos to you and your continued support of these Netgear routers @Voxel.

I wish more people were vocal about how much this means to them. I know it must be a labor of love for you, and I appreciate all your contributions, even though I, myself, have not been using NG routers for a long time now.

Just a quick note wishing you the best and acknowledging your work is appreciated immensely by many. Even if most of those are silently grateful for your work. Take care.
Dear All, can you please help me as never done it before im runnigng R7800 v. and want to upgrade to new one R7800 v.
Is there any instruction how to do it ? Or just use standard Firmware update option from route ?

Kudos to you and your continued support of these Netgear routers @Voxel.
Thank you very much.

There's another reason here. Nowadays, I move around to different countries very often. But I always put the relatively compact R7800 in my suitcase. And it always connects me to the Internet without any problems, providing a fairly secure and anonymous connection. Because I know how it works and how to provide it. I do it myself.

There are no interesting QCA routers from NETGEAR to go further yet. Or the pretty expensive ORBI mesh systems. Waiting

It's great that you're still working hard and supporting so many users like me. Thank you very much and wish you good luck.
P/s: I bought an ax6/huawei ax6 product but honestly I still can't part with the r7800, I put the huawei ax6 away as a backup

After 7 months downtime due to living in a temporary location, updating the firmware was first thing I did upon boot!
Upgraded from .100 to .105 without a single issue and all is running smoothly again!

Thank you so much Voxel!
Hi @Voxel I appreciate your work a lot. It has been 5 years, I am with r7800 and still you provide new firmwares. What I wonder is that I haven't upgrade my firmware for a long time since V1.0.2.49SF :) Almost 5 years of time.

Do you think is it ok to upgrade using UI?

When I checked my notes, I noted that dropbear, openvpn, netwall, powerctl, rclone configs should be kept in zip. and after upgrade unzip them.
