New Around Here
I'm coming from a Draytek router that had the DD-WRT firmware installed. I had set up a script on my web server to update a DNS record and my old router had the option to specify custom dynamic dns via a simple HTTP request. URL/authentication etc.
Is this possible with the ASUS? It seems there is only a predefined list of providers with no custom option. I would prefer not to be tied to an external ddns provider if possible.
If it's not possible in the web GUI itself does anybody know if I could set it up via telnet? How would I go about setting up a task to call wget when the WAN connection gives a new IP?
Thanks in advance, any help will be greatly appreciated.
