New Around Here
I have just flashed DD-WRT on to my RT-AC66U router. The firmware build is still in development for this router, however, the build that I installed appears stable (build V24SP2-21286 by BrainSlayer). I have enabled wireless access to the router and can access it via my computer on both 2.4G and 5G. However, I can't get either my Blackberry or Samsung Galaxy S3 to connect. They both come up with authentication errors. I am using WPA AES as the encryption method.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 connected no problem

I just tried to connect my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and it connected straight up without any issues.

OK. I changed the encryption to WPA2 AES and now both mobile devices now connect. I have no idea why they didn't connect with the encryption setting set to WPA. Anyway, I have a solution (workaround).
I'd be happy in helping anyone, where I can of course, with flashing DD-WRT if anyone is looking to use this firmware. I live in Riyadh Saudi Arabia so have a specific reason for needing to use this firmware in order to improve security to my home network.
