I'm using Google domains for DDNS and have no problem registering with Google for my configured hostname.
When I enable "WAN IP and hostname verification" with a 60 minute update time, I get this error on my log every hour: watchdog: Hostname/IP mapping error! Restart ddns.
I understand this feature to force an update if the WAN IP changes (vs. WAN state change). Is this error normal or is something else going on? My RT-AC88U is running 380.66 but have seen this error in previous versions.
TIA
