I have a problem with my Asus mesh configuration. I have a RT-AX92U as my main router which is connected directly to a fiberglass "box? There is no modem before the router. In the same network there is also a RT-AX53U in mesh.

What happens often is that there is a strong wifi connection on my devices but no internet. When I turn off wifi on my device and immediately turn it on again the connection is good and the internet is back. When the internet is good it stays that way. The problem usually occurs when I've been out of the house and return home.

What also happens is that I can't connect to my harmony hub which is on the same lan. I cancel the connection attempt, close the app and connect through wan instead of lan.

My idea was that it maybe has something to do with dhcp settings, but I can't find anything strange (I think).

Is this a known problem? Help would be really appreciated.

Maybe there is too much wifi signal in the house and client devices are getting confused. Try powering off the AX53 and see what the stability is like. Since 2.4 GHz bands penetrate more walls and go further than 5Ghz bands, easily possible if they are too close together.

Are you using wired (ethernet) or wireless backhaul for the AiMesh ?

BTW, you should post in the ASUS Wireless AX subforum rather than here for better response.
