Did Asus pull support for the RT- AC56U?

I think the OP has a AC56 not a N56 (going by thread title).

Correct.. I have an RT-AC56U, which as you know is a the dual band AC router. Totally rocks too!

They did up it to

ASUS RT-AC56U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.380.3264

a few days later!

Where exactly are you finding this firmware? Only thing on their site is the beta 380.2695.

First go here: http://www.asus.com/us/Networking/RTAC56R/HelpDesk_Download/ The very first firmware listed is the version you're looking for. Remember the 56R is identical to the 56U. Not sure why it isn't listed for the 56U though. Hope that helps

Yeah I know that. Dang I have the AC66R but didn't even think to look there for the AC56. Thanks! That is weird as usually the U versions have updates when the R versions don't. Oh well .

You bet.. and BTW I'm finding that since I updated to this version, my router now will update if there's a new version just by clicking the Firmware link at the top of the home page. But this is the latest version and works fine.
