Dismiss Notice and Code of Conduct [X] area too small

I find that the [X} area to which you have to navigate to in order to dismiss the "Code of Conduct" and "Welcome" area are of too small a size and was wondering if the field in which the mouse pointer has to be placed in could be enlarged or expanded. On the PC it ridiculously small and on an iPad you have to re-tap several times in order for your finger to make any meaningful connection with the [X].
I think you should be able to click anywhere in the notice to dismiss it. The extremely small range is unnecessary and a hindrance.

Umm, it's in a browser! You zoom using mouse, trackpad, keyboard, or settings! When you've done what you need, you return the zoom to normal!

Having to zoom is another unwelcome extra step.
On some websites and forums you only need to click in the boxed field to dismiss rather than a subset field that appears to have been made intentionally too small.
I think this is a XenForo issue.

Seems a perfectly normal size on my PC. That said, it's a one-off task unless you're blocking cookies so it shouldn't appear again.

This was not as tedious on the old XenForo before the upgrade.

Strange. This is a complete non-issue for me. To be honest I can't remember what happened on the old XenForo because it was so long ago. As for after the upgrade - I don't actually remember this appearing as I would have clicked on the X and not given it a second thought. The only way I could see what you were talking about was to open my browser in "private" mode. Like I said, for me the X appears at a "normal" size. Certainly not large, but not unusually small when compared to the content on the rest of the web page. Perhaps there's differences between browsers or operating systems (I'm using Edge on Windows 11).

I'm on 24H2 using (Firefox (for years)) on PC and iPad. On the PC, 27" 2K LED Dell QHD display and Firefox is at 110% display size. The issue was persistent with 22H2 and an older HP LCD 22" monitor.
This has been a nag since the ZenForo upgrade but I kept silent and no one else noticed.
There's no reason/limitation (that I know of) for why a Larger Oval Box with "Click Here To Dismiss" couldn't be used. Edit: It's really the field that holds the [X] as if the margins around the [X] were downsized. And was wondering if that could be increased. Edit: It's not the size of the X but the activation field that holds the X.
I also don't store cookies.
