Appreciate if anyone can feedback on the performance of this single bay NAS from Dlink that can support NTFS file system.
I intend to have 2 nos of this NAS backing each other up without any RAID option.
The NTFS file system will also enable it to be mountable on any windows OS computer for easy recovery of data in case of NAS hardware failure.
Not sure on its performance in terms of thoughput & cache size, etc though..
Any feedback is most welcome.

I would expect it to perform similar to the DNS-321/323

Thanks for the response Thiggins.
How will the NTFS file system affect the performance?
I understand that EXT2/3 file systems are more stable than NTFS is that true?

You can't format the internal drives as NTFS.

I have no information that says EXT2/3 is more stable than any other filesystem.

According to a user; the DNS-313 is running a Linux OS. The Linux OS can also write to NT File System. The partition it boots on is on EXTFS while the data partition is in NTFS.
Are there any inherent advantages in this setup?
