DLNA Media Server Bug

Sometimes DLNA Media Server doesn't seem to be able to build the list of files to the DB (I don't know how it works) and return only some of the files uploaded to the USB. I've seen a few similar reports on Asus Forum but no solution.
Is there a way to rebuild the DB through Telnet?
Has anyone a suggestion on what can be wrong?

minidlna's database scanner is not very robust. A single corrupted media file can cause the scanner to crash.

Try having only a subset of medias at first, until you can pinpoint if a given file is causing the service to crash.
