DNS over TLS while using USB Modem

Hello,

I wanna know if it's able to enable DNS over TLS while using USB Modem on Asuswrt-Merlin. The DNS-over-TLS option isn't shown if USB Modem mode under WAN page is selected. And Asus official FAQ stats that only "support change the DNS Server setting when WAN is in Ethernet connection mode". I'd like to learn about if DNS-over-TLS - a Merlin specific feature - also acts like the official normal DNS setting.

For my router that I use with an Android phone as the USB modem I set up the DoT and the rest of the router settings using my home WAN connection first before setting it to use the USB modem. I can't say for certain but I thought at one point I tested the router using the USB modem and it was using DoT.
