DNS server query order

1. How does merlin on Asus router treat DNS server order specified in WAN setup?

Does it randomly query them or sequentially query them?

Is it possible to force it to query sequentially?

2. Can I manually specify more than 2 servers? This is not possible in GUI but can I telnet and do it?
