Does UDP assured timeout actually work with NAT acceleration?

As discussed in this thread: http://www.snbforums.com/threads/udp-connection-always-have-state-unreplied.21267/.

When NAT acceleration/hardware acceleration (CTF) is enabled, UDP connections always show up with state "unreplied" in the connection tracking. Because of that, does the timeout value of 180 seconds for assured UDP connections actually work? Or are all UDP connections treated as unreplied and dropped after 30 seconds?

I'm asking this because I had some connection problems lately, and I'm having problems troubleshooting the issue. So I was hoping someone can answer the question if the assured timeout value is actually used when NAT acceleration is enabled.
