Double NAT with backup TMobile internet

Hell all,

pretty sure I know the answer but going to verify anyways, my primary intent is Xfinity, and my backup is TMobile, with TMobile I use their gateway and they don't have the ability turn off their firewall etc, unless you get a business plan.

question is, when I go to my backup is there any where to put and in a rule and if so how? so that way I can still use vpn etc when double nat'd?

Use Tailscale to VPN behind CGNAT and/or doublenatting.

When you say "so that way I can still use vpn etc when double nat'd?" are you talking about connecting to a VPN server from the internet? What is the "etc" you're referring to?

is there documentation on how to set this up by any chance? I know the add on for merlin and have used tailscale in the past. Just don't know how to do this part.
Setup what exactly? If you setup Tailscale on your router or another device on the LAN "it just works". You don't need to make any other changes (other than using the Tailscale client to connect to your network rather than your current VPN client software).

well that's easy, didn't know if there was additional steps to take. Thanks for the help.
